Gray Winter

Gray Winter

The once beautiful trees full of snow

Have lost all of their greatness and splendor

for no longer my saddened eyes see

Any goodness or light in this world

By a lance my heart has been shattered

Into stone it has also been turned

And no warmness or comfort I feel

For I sit in the white endless snow
