“The fall”

“The fall”
If I don’t wake before I die, my fare well wishes to you,
for me, don’t cry.
This tattered body all worn from despair, my thanks to you,
for you did care.
My all was gave, so in place I lie, my road gave end
and like many, I will die.
If time could heal the pain I now bare, this single heart,
would again beat with its pair.
A heart of cold, lay once where there resided spark, can’t find my way now
and even the day Light, has gotten lost in the dark.
In the near distance, a lone (nomad), seen roam, claiming clearly,
no acceptance, of any form of home.
And I just as he, without a shadow of a doubt, did no longer feel,
nor wanted to belong.
A road of grit and dirt and in this, exist no phone, facing an army of darkness
and my corner, one man strong.
A candle light left burning, though dim but in sight, it will come to be known,
that the moon as well, fell from Gods’ grace, that night.

Hi Brenda,
Thank you for the wonderful comments and reminder and as you stated, the best way to exercise your challenges/shadows is to place them under the yield of a pen, (which is something I had fallen short of lately)... I tend to hold these truths, to be self-evident and that all men/women weren't created health wise nor financially equal and if it be the case," no one person" would be without illness any more or any less, than any other. Medical would be paid, for all those that couldn't afford it and poverty, (for the many), would be non-void and without monetary merit...We all tend to fall short somewhere in life and there is no one I know, that choose to do so but it is my/our choice, in all matters, whether again, I/we will rise once again, to confront that occasion…..Jim
