So many meanings of fall
Autumn is here and the leaves fall,
‘To drop or descend under the force of gravity’
The radio is turned down and the volume falls
‘To become lower in pitch or volume’
You pay me a compliment and my eyes fall
‘To become lowered or directed downward, as the eyes’
The price increases and the number of purchases fall
‘To become less or lower as in number, quality, volume’
The soldiers head bravely into battle and the wounded fall
‘To fall to the ground due to an injury or illness’
