Fall into Winter

Fall into Winter

Selene lunar alight
Fireflies take flight
Neath starry festoon
Embrace lambent moon

Trees, observe aloft
Whisper tender soft
Autumn wondrous glide
Brisk tis season’s tide

Ebon skies afire
Darkness inspire
Leaves shall rain
On foggy terrain

Frost will chill
As snowflakes spill
Hushed tis silent night
Bedecked in pristine white
