Fallen Angel

Fallen Angel

A fallen angel glides through a crimson river
blood soaked wings dragging on its decaying back
As it looks into the pitch black sky
crys of children split the night sky
A lifeless child who crys no more
The fallen angel rocks her to sleep
smiling at the absence of her heart beat
