Fallen Leaves

SYNOPSIS: This is a winter poem, in other words it is about life, death and the " Lifeless Leaves ". The metaphor of falling leaves being fallen tears is an appealing one and if tears are regarded as dead once they leave our eyes then it makes sense. Unlike tears, fallen leaves are the food of the spring that will arise out of the death of winter. In the following poem I have implied this, that dead leaves are the inspirations of another life - WILLIAMSJI

I just scribbled for the sake of scribbling;
admittedly, a line of verse which bursts freely,
From a twisted, confused, depressed mind;
Lifeless leaves; decayed fruits; torn out paper;
Lay in the rain; dawn to dusk; until all ruined;
You bleed away; wounds are still awaiting cure!
Lifeless blind eyes opens, doing nothing at all;
Nothing left out in the intake pot to hope about.
