Falling Snow

Falling Snow

Staring at the falling chaos
That lies beyond the window pane,
How this brief time merely delays us,
Assured that we should meet again.
Yet thinking that might never happen,
My destiny to drift
As one of many billions
Aboard this lonely ship.

Mind scratching for some meaning
Thoughts seeking out a sign
Got no more truck for my bad luck
Can it ever be….our time?
Or should we fall amongst the chaos
Just accept fate’s hand, let go?
Is there no more you and no more me…
Are we as the falling snow?
