False Hope

I was free when captive to her mind 
She swears now I'm dead to her
Not one worry in the world now 
Her last words to me "Stay strong"
My last words to her still unheard 
My mind a cage that wont let her go 
Trapped inside forever is her home 
I must move on but cant let her go 
Physically she is gone for now 
The faintest shard of hope remains 
Nope its gone as well but i still hold on 
For what? for who? questions circling
Answers never to come, regardless 
Maybe she took them with her too 
With no intentions of a return
Closed closure leaves voids open 
All that is left to remember her 
Is a tiny shard of made-up hope 
Along with caged memories of my love 
Forever gone, forever swearing 
Forever she will never be back 
Still she remains captive to my mind 
Because forever I'll still love her
