Poem -

Fate and fortune

Fate and fortune

I was born to be human
I will aspire to be more
I will straighten my crown
I will get off the floor

All dreams are meaningless
Unless you work very hard
It's no good to be mute
When you want to be a bard

All promises are empty
Unless you keep your word
Don't promise the moon
Unless you own the world

There's no profit in truth
Unless you make people believe
For to make trees grow strong
You must first plant the seed

My seed has been planted
My world has been changed
I keep my crown crooked
To remind me of the pain

That it took to get to this very point
To open my own eyes to myself
I am the fate ruler of my fortune
That right belongs to no one else
