"Father Above"

To my "Father above"

He is the reason I live and breathe my mom’s love.

What I’m asking for is more guidance,

because I want to live my life to become more righteous.

I’m tired of hating and being awake in a dream,

I’m tired of living with low self esteem.

I’m tired of wanting and needing and being a fiend,

I’m tired of fighting and being so mean.

Sometimes I feel this it too much to bear,

It feels like I’m dying and fighting for air.

Crawling then walking then running away,

please Lord save me before I face a new day.

Hiding and lying in this life that’s not real,

believing and knowing this is just how I feel.

Please Lord help me to do what is right,

I’m tired of running I need you strength for this fight.

Help me stop sinning and doing what’s wrong,

because I do not want my soul to be gone!
