Poem -

Fear of isolation

Locked behind a closed door, a little girl sits wondering how she got there.
She is trapped and is swallowed up by the shadows of night.
The only light seems to come from a little key hole under the door.
Lonely and cold the little girl weeps to fill the room with something other than silents.
She speculates how she ended up behind closed doors.
She trembles at the sound of the door knobe raddling.
The next thing she know death is at her door.
As the lips of death kiss her, she thinks how she never wanted this to happen but her fears got the better of her and no longer kept her safe.
