Fear of showers

I’ll tell you
why
I’m scared
of
showers,
even if
it sounds
absurd.
More than
once
I’ve nearly
fallen
and
all my screams
would be
unheard.
Who would
I
call,
there’s
no one
listening.
No one
would know,
although they’d care.
I’m all alone
they wouldn’t find me
until,
perhaps,
it is
too late.
So that
is why
I’m scared
of showers;
when
no one knows
that
I
am there.
