Fear, Pain, Peace

               I've seen fear in the minds and the hearts of many.

And there's some in mine too but i have courage in plenty.

So when you look in my eyes fear wont be found simply.

While the fear thats in yours must be there just to tempt me.

Into bringing the pain that wont be brought gently.

The truth often hurts when it cuts that deep mentally.

It can hurt more than the pain that you can feel physically.

And turn into something that can break you down spiritually.

And torment your soul for what feels like eternity. 

While I laugh at your attempts when you  attempt to try hurting me.  

Because any pain you can bring to me is brought to me beautifully.

And distracts my mind from the thoughts that get through to me.

Because my own thoughts bring the pain that can hurt the most brutally.

So when I find peace in myself there's nothing more you can do to me.
