R.I.P. Eric Shoop

I hella miss you bro.
More than you will ever know.
More than I can ever show.
My hearts about to burst and overflow.
Why the hell did you have to go? 

There was so much we wanted to do.
That we just never got around too.
It's hard to believe how fast the time flew.
Theres still alot of time that I gotta go through.
I just hate that I have to do it without you. 

I should have been there bro.
No way to stop you, bet I coulda saved you though.
But I wasnt thinking right and just thinking to slow.
I feel like something happened that I'll just never know.
So the regret in my heart is only gonna grow.
Every time the tears in my eyes start to get heavy and flow. 

We was gonna conquer our fears as we were chasing our dreams.
But we thought we had years to stack up the means.
We met 16 ago when you were still back In your teens. 
Look how fast time can fly bro good thing now you got wings.
I know you'll be watching over me as I move on to other things. 

Everytime I think of you I'm always gonna cry.
It wont always be because I'm sad tho, only our bodies die.
I know your spirit and soul went back up to that light in the sky. 
Even though my faith is strong I still wish I knew the reason why. 

I know you held alot of pain here and now your in a better place.
So eventually a smile will break through the tears on my face.
And ill think of you consumed in the light of his loving grace.
Cause I know your up with god in his loving embrace.
