Set me free

Set me free

They say we make our own destiny.
But I feel like there's nothing left in me.
Except this fucking breath in me.
Take that too and set me free.
This life is my misery.
And i wish to be,
A soul waiting on delivery.
So lord please deliver me.
I need the peace and serenity.
This world is always hurting me.
I'm tired of the uncertainty.
How much worse could this life be.
That's something I dont want to see.
I feel like there's a curse in me.
Please cleanse my soul back to purity.
So my mind can rest and finally be free.
Give my body to the roots of my family tree.
So the future can have a bit of history.
Or cast my ashes into the sea.
Than combine the rest of my energy.
Soul, spirit, and personality.
To be one with your light for eternity.

Deeply moving piece, vividly describing that desire to purify the soul and feel cleansed of this life. To reconnect with light.
