FEBRUARY FRAGRANCE: DAY 29, WILLIAMSJI MAVELI WRITES, THE CHARM AND BEAUTY

She who said goodbye forever,
Left like the flowers of a plum-tree,
Blooming beside my roof space,
the charm of her youth and beauty
thrilled once in my own heart
to quicken their flush and fragrance,
where does she dwell to-day,
my dear little vanished girl,
This light of the half moon
that plays on the water
I pour it for the dead,
for them to open their eyes

A moving love poem, I really like the line "Left like the flowers of a plum tree," as I have seen and smelled wild plum tree blossoms and how quickly they leave. Thanks for being my friend on this site! Glad I am getting to know you through your writing, and you are prolific in your writing, which inspires me!
