Poem -
Feel
Negative Thoughts
Blindfolded. Divulging.
Fake Patience.
Mind fogged,
And left the station.
Backwards or forwards.
Don`t know,
Can`t see,
The scales that tip.
In directions unknown.
In the sea;
The good,
The bad,
The indifferent.
Buzzing decisions.
Asking, “How do you feel?”
When I`m unable to feel.
Tough to anger. And weak to stun.
I feel like I`m shooting blanks.
Just to talk to someone.
Conspicuous. Suspicious
Overbearing. Overflowing.
Never glowing, dull.
Never sharing
Because you can`t divide by
Zeros and ones.
A Programmers’ thoughts.
Like chemicals in the brain.
Synapses.
A method.
No feelings.
No consequences.
Just negative thoughts.
And Fish of the Sea.

Max negative thoughts positively put and I am enthralled by your writing, for you really deliver the mind set goods on offer in poetic spades.
So much to take in and absorb and digest, a real thought process displayed with a reflection of loneliness and inner struggle.
For that's how it is sometimes. That's life and the baggage that goes with it ,for good or bad. But only sometimes.
For things do improve slowly but surely and for the better.

Hello Max, I think you expressed perfectly that empty sensation we get sometimes when we hit that all time low
so relatable. There are times when we just can’t function and verbally can’t even express the depth of the suffering we are in. It’s as though we are a fish in a tank, watching the world move around us, but our words are lost inside the tank. Cos everyone else is outside it. Your poem made me reflect on my own inability at times to connect with the world. Because of my pains. A truly powerful and moving poem Max. Great stuff. I almost missed it too. I just had a hunch to double check your posts. I am so glad I did

Hi Gwen! Yeah, it seems like a low point right now... though I have a social event this weekend so hopefully that`ll change. I`m really grateful to have support and that you could relate to my work. As I have said previously it makes me feel that I`m not alone. I think we can all understand a disconnect from society and our usual "Comfort zones" especially with the pandemic for one, we have all had to adapt...
