Relax my my mind and unwind to find

A natural high

Anointed ecstasy of intimacy

Too many words to say

Not enough time to waste

Or be wasted

Your lips tasted bittersweet fruit from a tree

To be given to me

Felt as if I had been drugged

Tricked into this lullaby of notes

That just seemed to take all these strokes

of pain

From all the rain

Of others before

Your eyes just sing to me

Your lips sweet like ice tea

Never lie to me.

You will always have the best of my affection

All I have is good recollections
