So here is my take and here's what I say 
For starters there is a girl I know called Sally
Admired the view of a very deep and wide valley

In total contrast to Sally is her friend Lori 
She liked nothing better than looking at a quarry
At the quarry was their mutual friend Claire
Both of them didn't ask how she got there 

I'm thinking it would be with tremendous pain
No doubt with the assistance of a lady named Elaine 
Helping Elaine would be her friend Lisa 
These two needed the help of a geezer

Automatically they thought of Lisa's Uncle John
They phoned him up but he was long since gone
Where to the answer is not very clear I'm afraid 
Maybe he had gone to visit his cousin Jade
