FICKLE BUTTERFLY

FICKLE BUTTERFLY

LOVE; He's a fickle butterfly
If you chase him, he'll fly away
And if you try to keep him
Well, you can't force love to stay
He flitters and then he flutters
It's like, he can't make up his mind
He's here one moment, gone the next
Leaving your broken heart behind
He said; My love is carried in the wind
It must be free to come and go
For love, like life; Is fleeting
I said; Oh, you think so?
Love was a fickle butterfly
But now he's pressed in my display
Pressed between two pieces of glass
He won't be carried in the wind, today!
