Fields of Blues...
The white man,
Done me wrong,
A slave!
To the paper dollar strong,
With my guitar,
Nobody,
Could do me harm,
Down on the Mississippi,
Parchman Farm,
Shackle me down the river,
I still smell,
The fields of blues,
A reflection of the prisoner,
The pain of walking in my shoes,
You say it's devil's music,
Then it came from the church,
It didn't come from the lord,
It came from a broken man, cursed,
Listen to the blues,
While the guitar weeps,
Music, in the warm wind,
While sowing the working fields,
Parchman Farm,
The place of stolen dreams,
The rich man became fat,
With the blues, I'm still free,
Down on Parchman Farm,
Deep down on the Mississippi...
If you want the truth,
Travel through fields,
Walk the fields
The field of blues...

Just...amazing, I really felt it.
Wonderful
Thank you sir! I wanted to give it an old blues feel, from a personal perspective, of the character still being free even though imprisoned, thanks again ????
