Poem -

Finally Set Free From You

As I sit on my corner and think about all of your lies

I have nothing else to do besides break down and cry

We knew it would end

We knew it would die

We knew one day we'd have to say goodbye

You told me you loved me so much

You told me you cared about me more than anything else

But the rage inside me had slowly flared

The moments we shared replays in my head every time I close my eyes

Along with all the sweet pathetic lies you said

You thought it was a game

You though you could win

But in the end you felt nothing within my heart

Deep down inside there was a big empty and broken space

That I now realize that you could never replace

Something about you helped me see what out there

And that without love I am finally free

Free from all the pain you caused

Free from all the lies you told me

Free from having tear filled eyes that you caused me to do

Without your love I can finally see

All the horrid things that you have caused and turned out to be
