finds a knife

She held the knife, Cuts real deep. Doesn't understand,

The life she had keep. Felt trapped, Inside her mind.

In misery she tries to find peace, prayed for love. Hoped to look down from above.

Yet she finds a knife and cuts real deep. Finds a cliff and wanted to leap. But she stops herself and looked back at the life she could have. "Is this what I want?" She starts to fade.

She stares at her wrists, The scars freshly new. She sits down and cries "What did I do?" She takes a deep breath, Closes her eyes.

Thought about the past, All the hate and lies. Once again,  She was lonely. She swallows a great lump. 

Rush toward the edge, at the speed of lighting, Finally taking that leap of faith.
