Fingerprint
Image! Permanent, defines who you are.
It can't be covered up it's like a fatal scar.
They compare
from traces left behind.
You better beware
if you did the crime.
No time to go back if you made a mistake.
They're engraved on your hands, there is no escape.
You can run, but you can't hide
so you better have an alibi.
They stick to a surface kinda like glue,
and they will know if it was you.
You better be nervous, watch your back
the identity on your fingers is what they can track.
They powder the walls....you've been found.
Even though the place you robbed you'd burned down.
It's time to stop running.
Can you please take a rest?
They know it was you,
so go ahead and confess.
The maze of lines stitched into your hands
tells the difference between you and man,
and whether you want to believe it or not
this can't be avoided you've already been caught.
So listen to them, and put your hands on your head.
Don't be dumb, or you'll be the one dead.
Play it smart, and put your hands behind your back.
Don't look at me I told you your fingerprints they'd track.
When the hunt is over and your behind bars
take a look at those prints which remind you of scars.
They won't go away so start acting right.
Then you won't be in chains all your life.
