On Fire for God

It’s cold and dark in the dead of night
Then a spark bursts out and shines bright
A fire starts, bringing warm air
To a world of coolness and despair
As time passes on, the fire stays
There were no more cold and lonely days
But with time, it got hard to stay alive
If it burns out, how could it revive?
Slowly, it begins to calm down
No longer flourishing on the ground
Cool air began to come back to life
Causing the world so much strife
Then the sun came and shined to a new day
To the world that was once so dull and gray
Helping the little fire burn a little brighter
And a warm fire was here to stay
No matter how hard life becomes or may seem
You should always burn your light and let it gleam
Through all the good times, the bad, and the odd
And no matter what, stay on fire for god
