THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE

Today's the first day, of the rest of my life
Let's hope there's no looking back
I went to the doc's to get some pill's
To get my life, back on track
The Doc had a checklist, a guide to depression
List of questions, from one to ten
She was reading my diary, I got the impression
I realised, right there and then
Not for one moment, did I think I was ill
I thought everyone else was wrong
I bless my wife for having the will
For showing me how to be strong
