First Steps

As I begin to breathe searching for my first breath,

Of a future that is unknown or what lies ahead,
Breathing in as I take my first step of a life that is full with little regret.

The path of what was known with a life I used to see,
Is now broken with nothing left but for me to flee.

All that lies ahead is darkness and uncertainty,
What does God have in store and what was meant for me.

Remember yet not knowing of what lies before me,
God give me the strength and let whatever be, Be.
