Fisher at Sunrise

Silhouetted by the sunrise

as this fisher watches all

perched on a protruding branch

listening to the mornings call

skies ablaze with bright colours

mirrored in the river`s flow

surface ripples from the movement

of marine life that live below

kingfishers are true masters

diving deep into the waters

never missing a sneaky fish

they are excellent spotters

as this powerful bird sits

contemplating all he sees

midst the colours of the dawning

waters ruffled by the breeze
