Poem -

five

five

oh how alive it felt to be five,
not a care in the entire world...
now i thrive to be five once again,
in a world that's filled with turmoil.
how happy and carefree five can be,
seeing through rose colored glasses;
but oh how we age as time passes...
and learn that life,
however long-
is never long enough.
