Flickering Flame

Flickering Flame

Flickering Flame     By:Gregory Tucker
Walking past the light
Shadows inhibit me
Rays of influence
Marked my territory
Time provided the
Destination
Called Life.
First love
True love
Friends of jubilation
Friends of sorrow
And
scarce friends
Of perseverance
Are the silhouettes
That breathed
Existence
Into this floating soul.
The journey is long
The pathway becomes narrower
While the mind that once was closed minded
Has blossomed into a flower of diversity
Creating a sense of forgiveness
And love towards humanity
