Floral Rain

Floral Rain

~~Me thinks oh lover of floral rain,
Come thus swiftly with love's refrain.
Β Serenade me genteelly sweet,
Scattering scented petals at mine feet.

Lyrical verse like a vivid Flutterby,
An offering akin breathless sigh.
Β Likening me to fragrant rose fair,
Naught other beauty canst compare.

Inhaling the allure of a poetic bouquet,
Cherishing always thine words thou say.
A whimsical quill blessed with melodious poem,
Bestowed upon me and the garden gnome.

Softly words quicken mine heart,
Impaling me with amorous dart.
Lover meet me secretly by garden stair,
Thine beauteous rose will await thee there.
Β
Find consolation in a vow of this,
I whilst bestow thee a single chaste kiss.
Β Lips as sweet as a nosegay of rose,
Sweeter still thine words of prose.
