Poem -

Flounder

Flounder

The rapture swirls around my mouth,
sickly sweet, with heartful fervor
whispering melodic allures.

The wash of a connoisseur,
delectable on this excitable palette,
a god's rein
in sinful concave galaxy.

My gargle echoes among the shadows,
lining a lustful soul, an unwanted,
slipping, intervention.

captivating to the
last moment

Collapse, drain, spout out from the
deep body that cherishes heightened words
into foreboading sea, immediately

momentary.

Drifting dreams escape me,
the taste crudely igniting memories,
with an open mouth I
gasp, floundering,
for

one

more

moment.

Such musical use of your words! Not only painting but moving, a pleasure as they fall from the tongue and hang in the air, Certainly a poem to be read aloud and freed to dance atmospereically.
I enjoyed this over and over.

Thank you John, it is a pleasure to know that you enjoyed reading this aloud, it is definitely written to fall a certain way on the tongue when spoken. Wonderful feedback as always.
