Flying Home

Flying Home

The world below me as the night
sky is indigo blue and endless.
The miles fall behind me like seconds.
pinpricks of stars crowd the night sky.
from my window seat
the moon shines its glow for eternity.
I an coming home to you my love
back to the place fate made for me.
God made the starsĀ
for the sky to hold
as he made me for you.
He made eternity for moons
But for us he made tonight

Authors Note
