FOOD FOR THOUGHT
I have better food than most - international cuisine,
everything at home from all the exotic places I've been;
I often say from memory that it was better over there,
but now that it's imported - love is managed right here.
Be careful who you marry, Russians with black sausage,
it's best without and make sure you're both on same page,
Italians with excessive tomatoes seems that anything goes,
the leaning tower of Pizza just not good enough from Angelos.
Escargot tends to be slow moving, French always approving,
although the boat trip was good and charisma not in Seine,
the Germans didn't really know what all the fuss was about,
after indulging and spluttering with a face full of sauerkraut.
Then there's the English - heaven help us, steak and kidney pie,
others don't agree that it's something for which you might die.
