Foolish

I once wrote of love.
How foolish of me.
Happiness comes with a price.
Oh but that pain, that pain is free.
Young and unforgiving.
My unknown motto.
I always thought to follow my heart.
Now I know, it's a terrible role model.
Still young.
But my soul grows tired.
I swear, if life was a job.
I would of been fired.
I try to smile,
Have whole hearted laughs of glee.
I once wrote of love.
How foolish of me.
