Footprints In The Sand

Footprints In The Sand

As the the revolution unpeels

Ugly truths are revealed

Former friends choose to repent
as they are led in chains
to the televised guillotine event

Welcome to disillusionment
as disingenuous corporate demons
clad in smug victory
hold out their slimy hands

"Join our lesser of two evils crusade"
they hiss cynically
to the numb prisoners
who really never had a chance
fighting armed only with idealism
against such an institutionally stacked deck

Lol. Great picture Steve. I only know by what I heard and I'm not much of a fan of politics but how politicians are and then kiss each other's ass after all is said and done with the BS of saying we need to become united after tearing down their opponents. Do they think we are morons? That convention needs to wrap up it is causing so much traffic my daily commute is extra crappy. Good write man I applaud every word.
