FOR ME, FOREVER
You came to earth as a sacrifice...
You were beaten and hung on the cross...
Alive, bruised, and bleeding...
You were nailed and as though that wasn't enough...
A crown of thorns were pushed into your head...
Your only crime was you were God and His Son...
Through all of the punishment...
You didn't argue...
You didn't fight back...
For me, forever you were thinking of me...
You asked Peter if he loved you three times...
Do you know I do?

It's difficult to understand that kind of love for some people...
I felt guilty at different times in my life...
I went through major struggles with that...
It was hard for me what He went through so that I may live with Him for eternity...
