His light warms my day.

Hushed now is the laughter we shared.

Stilled are the dreams we nurtured.

His spirit still loves the fragrance of memories

That drift from his favourite blooms.

I see his sparkle in the heavens

His eyes shine in rainbows bright.

His familiar words still echo in my soul.

I hear him whisper in the gentle breeze

In the trees and their swaying leaves.

He is within me

His love stills my pain.

His spirit holds me

He has not gone from me.

He is the other half of me
