Listen closely to the whispers of the winds, 
As they can tell you the story of how our love first began. 
Upon the mist of an autumn's eve, 
In my arms I held you ever so close to me,
And around your finger I placed a band of gold 
And vowed that forever my heart was yours to hold. 
Tonight as the Crickets serenade us with an evening's tune, 
Softly is heard from within a distant breeze, 
"Darling, I love you." 
And, like before, beneath the autumn sky, 
I now hold your hand so tenderly in mine. 
As you close your eyes and off to dreams you drift,
