Poem -

FOREVER A QUEEN

Tears use to wet her pillow at night

dispair once was her best friend

sadness evoked her, overtook her pride

she couldn't distinguish her beginning from the end

then along came a King, who swept her away, to the castle that is his heart

embraced her as the imperfect, magnificent creation, delicately molded by God

he made her his queen, for the entire world to see, as her pedestal lay deep, imbedded in the stars

the cumulous clouds, where she'd lay her head, the most gorgeous of Angels you are

now tears of joy beset her soul, her smile, as bright as the full moon

so vibrant, and care free, to her heart's content, all her sadness has been consumed

for her knight in shining armour, her prince charming, her super hero, her everything has elated her soul

no more lonliness, no insecurities in sight, no more depression or sadness to enudure

just happy times, she as his wife, white pickett fences the whole 9 yards

and to think for so long, this evaded her spirit, she use to think life was so hard

a Queen for a day, for a week for a month

Forever a Queen inĀ his heart

no more misery, cast far away into the night

forever more, she's embedded in his heart
