Poem -

forever thin

Back in the day i was desirable-,

that was only two years ago -,

you dont look at me the same way now ,-

did you think i didn´t know?,

I know my jeans dont fit me -,

and my face has gotten thin -,

but i am still the same person -,

whose heart beats within ,-

I lost all my fat because i had to-,

to many people said i was big-,

so i cut down on what i eat ,

a change of life style and a few cig´s,

But i went too far with what i was doing -,

and just look at me now -,

i went from being big to misery -,

is there no comeing back for me now ,

the doctor´s they where baffled -,

and didn´t understand why ,

how i ended up so skinny-,

but help you we will try,

They treated me for three weeks -,

and avary day i got sick ,

but then  one day  the doctor come´s in-,

and said that i was ANOREXIC,

In a way i think i always new -,

but i kept it all inside ,-

when you have feeling´s like this -,

dont close your door and hide ,

today i am better-,

but the damage has been done-,

trying to find myself again -,

really wasn´t fun ,

SO when you are feeling down in life -,

and you just dont know what to do -,

put your head on a friends shoulder ,

and like me you will pull through ,

gone my hero

he looked at me with those eyes of blue
i knew he had something to say
a gentle smile...

empty chair,s

hand to mouth at the kitchen table
empty chair,s for company
not a sole to share a word...

looking out my window

looking out my window at a dancing corn field
reminding me of home
so far away from my land...
