Forgiveness is a funny thing,
See everyone tells you to forgive they say “it’s good for you”
And they tell you to
Move On to the Next Act. ..
“Learn to Let Go and Be Like Water”.
See although people may have been through similar situations
NO ONE has your emotions,
And although people give you advice there just acting nice
When you tell them that you can’t forgive they say
Why do you fear forgiveness
But fear means two things
Forget everything and rise or forget everything and run
But I’m not running
But I’m certainly not forgetting
Because
You don’t understand the things that these people put me through and I can’t just be like you and forgive because if I forgive them it will only happen again and I don’t want to go through all the broken promises and lies again I really don’t so don’t tell me what to do because I’m…I’m not you
In time yeah I might forgive but let me have my time now to just think.
