Poem -

FORGOTTEN,FORGIVEN,GODS LITTLE QUEEN

Time to leave on the memory
before the saints remove the bandage
close your eyes
pains a rainbow a day
as she splashes into another street
pulling a slit throated grin
borrowed from yesterdays gin
carrying her shoes
on broken dream blues
she smiles at the reflection
laughter drifts away into the deserted
crescent moon

Keys are for doors
as she fumbles across another wet dank left behind falling  fool
crowds soon will wash upon
the landed invented shore

She tasted glory
in  dusty lusty causes
but lay me down with the other
sad clown
were ready its time after all
rain is weeping
running down a maid serving scream
forgotten forgiven
Gods little Queen
