Just when I thought life was figured out,
Something wonderful happened to me.
As I strolled along my chosen path,
I was blinded, and now I see.

A formula to a life of happiness,
Filled my mind, of days gone by.
The people that I choose to love,
Tear filled eyes, began to cry.

The catalyst for these emotions,
An inner peace that felt so strong.
Was a simple tune from days gone by,
The power of music, in one song.

Never knew it was possible,
To be so happy with love and life.
My friends make me a better person,
And I chose the perfect wife.

The best things in life are free,
I am the proof of this each day.
Proud you chose to choose me back,
I have nothing left to say.
