Poem -

Forty Five

Forty Five

Forty Five

Well here I am
At forty five
The ex long gone
I feel alive

Free at last
My times my own
The kids are gone
Its time to roam

Kissed a few toads
Oh the lessons of life
The passion gone
To be the good wife

No more criticism
And always told im too fat
Look at your wrinkles
Or hey old bat

His cheating and flirting
My problem no more
Good luck to the next girl
Ive shown him the door

So i will age gracefully
And accept what will be
With hope that some day
I will be loved because im me

Shit I'm close , I am going in the  nude of moonlit splendor ,hoping for a cannonball splash , as I backstroke a few years off my weary arse 😉

On a serious note , this hits home and I am sending you a hug in the spirit, because this beautiful write touched my heart and soul 💐

Umm where is that fountain again? 😯
