FOUR SISTERS

When my heart was feeling lonely 
Aching from despair 
Grace came beside me
And said; God is always there
He will never leave you
You are not alone
He is closer than your next breathe 
You are never on your own 
When I spoke a hurtful word
When I  made the wrong choice 
Mercy came beside me
And lifted up her voice
Saying; You are forgiven 
God will help you 
We all learn from our mistakes
God's love will always shine through
When I was disheartened 
And sorrow came to stay 
Joy came upon me suddenly 
And lifted my soul in some way 
She said; "The joy of the Lord  is your strength"
It will keep you strong today 
I felt empty,  like there was nothing left inside 
But LOVE came softly holding me
Filling the empty spaces
Setting my heart free 
I had four lovely sisters visit
I knew them each by name
With Grace, Mercy, Joy and Love 
You're never left the same
