Poem -

Fourth of july

Independence day fills your heart
you wonder who youd be otherwise
If it werent for freedom, bravery
america is fierce and powerful
so are its people
Who would i be otherwise?
As a pakistani surely not as brave or free because of laws in place
Never going hungry like africans
Always having an abundance of options
grateful and blessed
Who are we without america??
Its our strength and beauty
Spacious seas
Beautiful lands
Splendid architecture
Always...we celebrate
We celebrate our wealth
Our great fortune
Wed be more unhappy without it

Depression

In deep sombre thoughts,
I meet demons in disguise,
Of hope, love and peace.
