Poem -
Fragile
Shine a light into recesses of my mind
A coherent thought you'll do well to find !
Currently inhibited by muddled thinking
Worse for wear due to enthusiastic drinking !
................................................................
I shouldn't have indulged to that degree
For now my head doesn't feel part of me !
It is throbbing brutally because of excess
When will I learn to consume fractionally less ?
..................................................................
I search for a hangover cure high and low
But nothing restores my balance that I know
So for today I must accept this is how I'll be
Politely asking all I encounter to treat me gently !

Hey Richard I remember some hangovers when I was young . Trying to get off the couch and the ceiling fan is spinning fast but actually going slow . That is when you lay back down and sleep it off .I have only had one bad hangover in my life and never have since . A great write of memories that brought back some for me .hugs to you rock
