Fragile as Glass

Pain of love,
Fragile as glass,
shattered inception,
Litigious thy decree,

Sonnets unwritten,
Forever embittered
Promises, dreams, untied

Embracing a lie,
To satisfy, emotion's material wealth,
Compromise be chastised,
For all is deserved to thee,

Casting, shaming, blaming, hating,
Projection's lock & key,
Transparency seen by only he,
"The Man" blinded by fee,

Crocodile tears aid, convince,
The playwright, conductor leads,
Perspective mutilation, reality mutates,
To halt failures inevitable charge,

Conviction bites, anger smites,
To rid the guilt from she,
For do not judge in thy defence,
The axe should fall on he,

Perfection's quest, at every cost,
Failure shall not bequest,
Invisible judge, daily drudge
Resigned to settle for flawless,

Irony sings in sweet symphony,
For on this quest for all sympathy,
Judgement shall be laid upon thee...
