Fragments of Reality

Fragments of Reality

Nikola Tesla came to me in a dream,
He had a lightning bolt and smiled through the partings of time,
He picked up a box labeled reality and tossed it into the sky of a world I had never seen.
The skies were purple and the ground was made of water, not water like earth though, this water was solid and you could walk on it.
I looked up at the box Tesla threw up and it started floating into the sky,
He jumped and started floating, I did the same, as we left the sky with arms still reaching for the box we saw a green light shining brighter than anything I had ever seen.

He looked to me "Here is where reality ends." He said.
The green light began to consume us and yet I felt no pain or feelings of fear,
When I closed my eyes I felt the strangest sensation, when I opened them I was in a room filled with hundreds of people, Tesla grabbed me and showed me a huge screen.
The screen showed the world,
The hundreds of people in the room walked around, giving tasks, giving fears, throwing a war in.
They controlled every aspect of every day.
Tesla died of laughter and told me to keep moving, we went farther through the green light and we got to a place that looked like a city view, lights shined in the distance.
He sat down and told me "All of these lights are controlled by other lights, an endless simulation which simulates a world which eventually simulates a world, it's an infinite cycle."
I began looking at a very specific light, it's shine, it shocked me that it was a world, thriving with pollution, caught in hands of evil, it was just like us in it's meaninglessness.

I woke up in my room and everything felt wrong, I looked around at my walls yet I couldn't see the green light anymore,
I felt disillusioned, nothing seemed real, I pulled on my skin but nothing could prove, what really makes life real?
I began to grow mad, my sun grew grimmy and my air was thick, I couldn't do what I used to do, nothing brought me happiness.
I had to find peace so I flew out to China, 10 prostitutes later and my mental state was still in it's trauma, I ran to the beach but nothing felt right, it's all out of reach at least for tonight.
